I finished up the remastered cover for Chapter 7 and I like how it came out. I kept the whole idea behind it intact but I redrew Maxine but retouched the whole poster idea of it and made it so that the colors aren't as gloomy or dark as the colors in the original. The legacy cover will be moving to the Gallery if you'd still like to see / download it.

Speaking of the Gallery...

New Gallery Piece + Website Updates!

So not only did I add a new non-Heroine Rises piece to the Gallery, I also poked around the code for the site and added a new section to the Gallery!

Now you can toggle between viewing only 'Main' pieces or viewing only 'Heroine Rises Covers' that I've moved to the Gallery! The tab is located at the top and hopefully, once the Gallery becomes more populated, will allow for better organization and searching!

The new piece I added is a Virgen de Guadalupe 'painting' I did. The main subject was made with colored pencils and the background and the shiny metallic sections were made using acryllic paint. It's painted on birch wood, which was something I've always wanted to use!

What's Next?

Once I've finished with the Cover Remaster Project I'm thinking of moving forward with the creation of Heroine Rises: Chapter 11. I finally have a title for it. Smoke and Mirrors
