Heroine Rises

'Ada, Robert, and the Ring' Remaster

November 03 2021

Madeline meets Robert Silva - the husband of Ada Lima and gets more context on the Ring. Meanwhile, an argument brews over in the Isle of Tranqulity.

The sixth remastered chapter of Heroine Rises, titled Ada, Robert, and the Ring, is now avaliable to read here! As always, the original version of the chapter will be moved to the One-Shots section.

Mind Your Manners

Robert Silva isn't one to shy away from harsh truths. Too bad those 'truths' only exist in his own mind. Robert doesn't give out respect, it is earned. Respectable sure, but does he really have to be that rude? No, but Robert doesn't share the same sugarcoated personality as his wife.

Welcome back to another chapter of Heroine Rises! I'm a month late on this one, which means I probably won't be able to keep pace with that rough calendar I mentioned last time. I'm late because of school, midterms, illness, burnout, and an earnest effort to complete a Heroine Rises-themed Inktober challenge. (Which you should totally check out on my Instagram!)

Production slowed but I honestly feel that this time it was because I truly was busy and didn't have enough time to finish this up quicker. Nonetheless, it's here! That means there is just one more chapter to remaster before the year is out.

Speaking of which...

Closing In

I can't say for sure when this next chapter (The Daughter of the NSPD) will be finished. I will really strive to do it by the end of the year - maybe even by the end of the month if the stars align! I've already done a large chunk of penciling but this chapter needed lots of narrative reworking and new panels. Therefore, I don't know how long it will take. Check back before Christmas and I'm sure there will be something! Maybe I'll drop it in two parts? We'll see.

Unfortunately, the delay in this chapter means that it does not seem likely that we'll be able to see the end of HR12: The Issue with Mothers this year. Never say never, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I hope to get the physical volume in hand but there's still a lot of work to do on that front once I finish up with HR07.

Stay posted, I'll be back soon.
