It's a new Heroine Rises chapter yaaay! Ok so maybe it's just a part of it.
Heroine Rises Chapter 9 is titled Dangers of Serenity! Keep in mind that this is only the first part of the chapter. The second part isn't finished but it should be out in a few weeks!

In this chapter we follow Julian as he travels to Ada's home in the Palisades to conduct a forensic sweep of her bedroom. Juliette and Madeline head out to find Irene Lassiter based on what Jamie Banks told Madeline in Chapter 8. Despite their efforts to avoid conflict, the girls arrive at the address and find themselves in a prickly situation.
Commentary
QUESTION: OK, so why is this chapter in two parts?
ANSWER: I had a bit of trouble finding time to work on this chapter since my last post because I had to manage some school stuff, travel, maintenance people coming in and fixing stuff for two weeks straight. I also found it very hard to ink more than one page a day - I've gotten slower at inking pages! I like to believe that that's because there is a bit more detail in the inking nowadays compared to that of when I started. But it's done! The first part is done! As for the second part - I'm very excited to start working on it and hopefully now that all the little stressors are out the way for the foreseeable future, I can get it out soon enough.
QUESTION: Does that mean I have to wait another two months for Part 2?
I've been working on the next few chapters as well and I have a pretty solid plan for Chapters 10 and 11 and a general idea of where I want to take next few chapters after that. That should cut down on hiatuses. No break for now! I want to finish this chapter soon enough and start working on the next one ASAP! I really doubt that the second part will take 2 months - more like two weeks? I'll push myself and see if I can get it done.
QUESTION: Why isn't the cover image colored?
ANSWER: Since this is part 1 - I decided to make a black and white variant of the cover and use it until I finish the chapter in whole. I thought it'd be a cool way to split the two blog posts from being mostly identical. The cover is colored but I'll release that version when Part 2 drops.
QUESTION: What's with the email thing underneath this blog post?
